Product Description

Straight line wire drawing machine for spring making is an equipment for making wire drawing, which can bring high quality, smooth surface and uniform thickness to the wire. Product Details

1. Speed control of wire drawing machine

The front end of the capstan mold box is connected with a tension arm driven by a cylinder. The material of the pulley and the rotating roller is GCr15, and the HRC can reach 55-58 after quenching. When the tensioning arm rotates, it will change the eccentric wheel and position and feedback the signal to the sensor to control the speed of each winch.

A double-layer fixed guide pulley and a sensing arm with guide pulley are set as the ring speed controller. The tension arm is also driven by the cylinder, and when it rotates, the sensor generates a speed control signal to ensure synchronous tracking with the coiler or coiler.


2. Drawing blocks

-Winch material and surface condition

The material of the winch is ZG45 cast steel billet, which has been quenched and tempered. Dig 5mm deep on the working surface of the winch, then melt tungsten and cobalt carbide, and surfacing. After rough turning, fine turning, grinding and polishing, the surface roughness can reach 0.08μm, the height of the hardened layer is 300mm, the depth is ≧3mm, and the HRC 58-62.

The surface of the winch is all processed by a non-contact lathe, and the roughness of the operating surface is 6.3 μm. The inner wall of the winch is sprayed with zinc, which can effectively reduce the formation of cooling scale.

The winch spindle hole-to-shaft runout tolerance is ±0.03μm, and the winch dynamic balance grade is G6.3.


-Functional requirements of the winch

The winch before the last stop is a 7° inclined installation wire drawing winch, and the inclined installation can ensure that the winch reaches the maximum wire storage height (300mm) to achieve the best cooling effect. The last winch is a vertically mounted winch, so a tensioner can be installed behind it to keep the wire straight.


-Winch cooling

A spiral water jacket is fixed on the main shaft of the winch, and the water wheel is below. The winch is installed on the main shaft, and the lower part of the water jacket and the inner wall of the winch form a 10-15mm water storage. The circulating cooling water flows from the upper water jacket to the inner wall of the winch, and the water tank is filled with cooling water to fully cool the winding wire. When the winch rotates, the spiral groove keeps the cooling water rising, and then flows down along the wall of the winch, and is discharged through the upper outlet, forming a good circulating water cooling.

3. Braking system

A disc brake is designed at the output shaft of each motor, which consists of a brake disc and a hydraulic caliper pneumatic brake. The braking of the whole machine is generated by the conversion of the torque converter into the energy consumption braking of the motor and the gas-hydraulic braking, which can ensure the reliable emergency braking of the unit in high-speed operation.


4. Skip

Since all drives are designed with constant power, any block of the machine can be skipped to accommodate maintenance or allow for short holes. Our drives and control technology are designed accordingly. However, for wire orientation reasons, we do not recommend skipping blocks 1 and 2 and the last block of the wire drawing machine.


5. Die Box and Lubricant Box

Circulating water directly cools the mold shell, and an electric stirrer is installed in the lubrication chamber to turn over the drawing powder in time. The mold box has additional copper gaskets for simple sealing of circulating cooling water. The mold base is designed in the mold box to assist in fixing the mold. The mold box can be adjusted up and down, left and right, and the locking is reliable.

6. Electrical Parts

Electric control steel central cabinet: a sealed cabinet with fan ventilation, filtration, moisture-proof and dust-proof functions.

The main switch, PLC and variable frequency speed controller are installed in the central cabinet. Each inverter microprocessor complies with serial communication standards and other protections, including relay contact elements, lights, and 220-volt power sockets.

On the central cabinet door: master switch operating handle, three-phase commutator, master voltmeter, master ammeter, ammeter for each AC motor, 220 volt power socket and PC connection socket for sequence checking.


7. Safety

The shield adopts a fully enclosed structure welded by section steel and steel plate. The façade is designed with hoppers and transparent windows in 10mm thick polycarbonate sheets. A hollow rubber strip around the shield protects and acts as a cushion.

The shield is provided with a protective contact switch. It is a device that achieves mechanical locking during operation. (When the machine runs with the cover open, the unit immediately decelerates or stops, and returns to normal after closing. When it is opened, the unit can only jog.)
